Joseph began developing and exploring those abilities more seriously. While still in his teens, he started giving readings to friends and family members. Word quickly spread, and by the age of 19, Joseph was offering readings professionally.
It was during those early years that friends and family affectionately began calling him “Spiritman.”
The name stuck.
More than three decades later, Spiritman has become much more than a nickname. It represents a lifetime devoted to mediumship, spiritual exploration, healing, teaching, prediction, and helping people better understand their own connection to the unseen world.
From Private Readings to National Television
Joseph's work eventually attracted attention far beyond private readings and local events.
He appeared as a contestant on Lifetime's television series America's Psychic Challenge, where his abilities were put to the test through a series of challenges conducted under television conditions.
During one memorable challenge, Joseph was taken to the location of a murder without being told beforehand what had occurred there. He provided impressions and details concerning the crime based solely on what he said he was intuitively receiving.
In another challenge involving a search across approximately 17 acres of desert, Joseph located the person representing a missing child in just four minutes and twelve seconds.
These experiences introduced television audiences to the intuitive process Joseph had been developing since childhood.
Joseph has also appeared on the Travel Channel's Mysterious Journeys and was featured in Real Psychics on Comcast On Demand's Paranormal TV. His work and predictions have been discussed in books, magazines, newspapers, radio programs, podcasts, television appearances, and other media in the United States and internationally.
Predictions That Reached Around the World
In addition to mediumship, Joseph became known for making detailed predictions about future world events.
For many years, his annual predictions became a tradition, with Joseph publicly sharing forecasts concerning world affairs, natural events, celebrities, politics, social changes, health concerns, and humanity's collective future.
One of his most widely discussed predictions concerned Michael Jackson. During an MTV appearance, Joseph publicly expressed his belief that the world would lose Michael Jackson; Jackson died several months later in June 2009.
Joseph has also publicly associated earlier predictions with events including the H1N1/swine flu outbreak and the deaths of public figures including Heath Ledger, Patrick Swayze, and Elizabeth Taylor, among others. Joseph even stated, days prior, that Donald Trump would be shot in the right shoulder during an outdoor rally.
Today, Joseph continues sharing predictions, intuitive impressions, spiritual teachings, and commentary with his international audience through YouTube, podcasts, social media, and his weekly programs.
From Radio to Psychic Predictions Teatime
Broadcasting has been another major chapter of Joseph's career.
His early radio work included appearances on WBCB Radio, followed by his own weekly program, Journey Into The Paranormal, which aired on BlogTalkRadio for approximately seven years and developed a dedicated following within the platform's spirituality and paranormal community.
After relocating to the extraordinary red rocks of Sedona, Arizona, Joseph's broadcasting journey evolved again.
His weekly show eventually became what audiences now know as Psychic Predictions Teatime, bringing together Joseph's intuitive predictions, spiritual insight, astrology, current events, humor, and conversations about the extraordinary changes taking place in our world.
Through YouTube, Joseph's work now reaches people around the world every week.
Mediumship, Healing & Messages From the Other Side
Despite the predictions and media appearances, connecting people with their departed loved ones has remained at the heart of Joseph's work.
Joseph views mediumship not simply as communication with those who have passed, but as an opportunity for healing, validation, closure, hope, and transformation.
His readings can be emotional and deeply personal. The messages that come through may be profound, startlingly specific, unexpected—and sometimes wonderfully humorous.
Joseph believes that personality does not simply disappear with physical death, and that laughter can sometimes be just as healing as tears.
Over the decades, his work has included private readings, group readings, gallery events, home and office gatherings, large public events, spiritual workshops, retreats, guided meditations, classes, past-life regression experiences, house clearings, and house blessings.
Throughout his career, Joseph has presented live mediumship demonstrations before large audiences across the United States and Canada, as well as aboard cruise ships and in academic settings. His appearances have included multiple engagements at Rutgers University and Princeton University, along with serving as a guest presenter for a Religion & Spirituality class at Bucks County Community College. These diverse experiences have allowed Joseph to bring the subject of mediumship, intuition, and spiritual communication to audiences ranging from intimate educational settings to large public gatherings.
Joseph has also trained and received certifications in several healing and transformational modalities, including hypnotherapy, past-life regression, Usui Reiki, Jikiden Reiki™, and Access Bars.
As an ordained minister, Joseph can also officiate weddings and vow renewals, including intimate ceremonies surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Sedona.
Giving Back
For Joseph, spiritual work has never been only about building a career. Giving back has remained an important part of his journey.
Through events, appearances, fundraisers, and other charitable efforts, Joseph has helped raise more than $100,000 for charitable causes over the years.
Organizations supported through these efforts have included Camp Dreamcatcher, the Healing Consciousness Foundation, Susan G. Komen, Children’s Make A Wish, and other organizations and individuals in need.
Joseph has also stated that he has assisted law enforcement and families with missing-person and unsolved-case investigations, applying his intuitive impressions in circumstances where families were searching for answers.
A Lifetime Dedicated to Spirit
What began with a little boy who could sense things others could not has grown into a spiritual journey spanning more than three decades.
Along the way there have been thousands of readings, television appearances, radio programs, predictions, classes, investigations, charitable events, spiritual experiences—and countless people searching for answers.
Yet Joseph's purpose remains remarkably simple.
To bring hope where there is fear.
To bring healing where there is grief.

For more than three decades, Joseph Tittel, also known as Spiritman J.T., has devoted his life to exploring the mysteries of consciousness, intuition, spirituality, and the connection between this world and the world beyond.
